Attempting to install FrontPage extensions... /home/user/public_html/dirxxx does not exist or is not a directory

If you are trying to install the FrontPage extensions to your main domain, you should make sure that the public_html directory exists. If you see this error please make sure that the directory to which your main , you are trying to install the FrontPage extensions to, really exist and its name is correct. For

This error most often means that the directory, you are trying to install the FrontPage extensions to, does not exist.

If you receive this error while trying to install the FrontPage extensions you need to check first if the directory really exists and if its has the right permissions.

In this case please first check whether this directory exists. If it does not, you have to create it with the correct "755" permissions. You can create the directory and change the permissions from:

cPanel -> File Manager

Please note that you are able to change the permissions by using the File Manager within the cPanel. The correct permissions are 755. In SiteGround CPanel tutorial you can find detailed instruction for changing permissions through the File Manager.
