Does SiteGround support PHP 4?

SiteGround is in a process of discontinuing the PHP4 support on its shared servers and will not be able to allow PHP4 use on your account. The reason is that the PHP development team has officially announced the end of life for this PHP version. We encourage all customers to either make their applications run on PHP5 or to replace applications using the outdated PHP with other ones. This is the only way to prevent future security risks related with the use of the outdated PHP.

The PHP development team has also officially recommended that all applications currently running on PHP4 should be made compatible with PHP5 before the end of the year. For more information on PHP4 end of life and migration to higher PHP please refer to PHP's official website.
