The transfer from shared hosting to Cloud hosting involves:

1. Setting up the new VDS and configuring it for best performace according to your site's needs;

2. Transferring your account including all emails, files and databases to the VDS;

3. Redirecting the DNS servers from the shared hosting to the VDS. During this last step there will be 24 hours DNS propagation during which your site will open both on the VDS and on the shared server. It is highly recommended not to make any changes during this time because they will be lost.

When the transfer completes you will be informed by a ticket posted in your Customer's area.
