How can I import a large database to my account? PhpMyAdmin times out.

For importing large databases we recommend using tools such as Mysql Query Browser.

Before being able to connect remotely you will have to:

  1. Create a database and grant an user with all rights to it;
  2. Add your local ip in the allowed ips to access the mysql service.

All of the above can be done from the Mysql manager in Cpanel. For detailed instructions how this can be done please check this link.
