How can I save/backup copy my FrontPage site to my hard drive with FrontPage?

Q: How can I save/backup copy my FrontPage site to my hard drive with FrontPage?

A: Open your website in FrontPage, as if you are going to edit it. From the folder list:

1. Click on the little minus sign so that it changes to a plus and pulls all of your files into the one directory named:

    http://your-domain-name.com/

2. Your domain name directory should also be highlighted now.

3. From the top drop down menu select File (Alt+F is the shortcut ;)

4. Choose Publish Web and then Browse.

5. Now, select your PC desktop as a destination folder. We suggest you create a folder on your desktop called your-domain-name.com-backup first.

6. Select the backup directory you have just created and click "Open"

7. Confirm by clicking on the Publish button and you are done.
