How can I upgrade my ViPER Guestbook?

***** ViPER Guestbook is no longer supported by its developers and is not recommended for use. This is why it is no longer available in the Fantastico autoinstaller******

Instead, you can use the Ardguest guestbook application.

In order to upgrade your ViPER Guestbook, you should use Fantastico auto-installation tool. Please, open your CPanel at

http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

and click on the Fantastico icon. You will see a list of scripts on the left of the page. Look for "Guestbooks" and click on "Viper Guestbook". Then click "Upgrade".

Please, note that upgrading your application manually, can be quite a dangerous process, because if it is not conducted properly, it might damage your data permanently.
