How do I check if the server I am hosted on is experiencing technical difficultiesIn order to check the status of the server you are hosted on, please open:
Customers Area -> Get Support -> Check the status of your host server.
The status page should look like this
| Service: |
Status: |
| Apache |
OK |
| FTP |
OK |
| IMAP |
OK |
| Mail |
OK |
| MySQL |
OK |
| POP3 |
OK |
Here is an explanation of the above components:
1) Apache - This is our web server. If the Apache status is set to DOWN your site will be inaccessible.
2) FTP - This is the ftp server, which is used for file uploads. If it is down, you won't be able to upload new files using an FTP Client.
3) IMAP / POP3 - These are e-mail protocols.
4) MySQL - The database server. If it is down, all applications which require a mysql database will not be working.
