You can disable the visualization of the recently viewed products from your web site's front end by editing the VirtueMart configuration.

Open your Joomla admin area and navigate to Components -> VirtueMart -> Admin -> Configuration -> Site -> Select the theme for your Shop. Click on the Configuration link and change the Number of recent products to Display? to 0.

Save the changes and reload your web site.
