Prior to upgrading your ATutor application, it is strongly recommended to create a full backup of your website. For detailed information on how to do this you can take a look at this article.

Once you have done that you should download the latest ATutor version from the Official ATutor website.

Next, you need to extract the archive and upload the content from it into the same root directory as your current installation. For example, if your ATutor application is located in public_html/oldtutor, the content from the new archive should be in the public_html/newtutor folder.

Once you have done that, navigate with your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/newtutor and follow the instructions on the installation page. Please note that you should choose to upgrade an existing installation. Then all you have to do is specify the folder of the existing installation ("oldtutor" in our case) from the drop-down menu and press Next.

Then you have to follow the instructions provided by the upgrade page. If everything is set fine, you should complete the upgrade within several minutes.
