I am receiving the following error message when I try to publish my website via FrontPage: Server time out

When publishing a Web with FrontPage through a firewall or a proxy server with NTLM authentication enabled, you may receive one of the following error messages:

 

Server timed out

 

This problem can occur because of a timing problem with NTLM authentication through a proxy server.

 

To resolve this problem, please turn off the NRLM authentication in your FrontPage application and make sure that it is not configured to use proxy server.
