When you try to publish your website, and you are having a problem with FrontPage, saying front page could not parse..., please check the following things:

 1) Is there any firewall running on your system. You might want to disable it temporarily, to see if that could be the issue.

 2) Does your ISP have a proxy server that may need special settings. A proxy server basically sits between you and the Internet and blocks certain types of traffic. Sometimes it spoils the communication between the FrontPage client and the server, especially when the server tries to send an authentication request.
