How can I get ViPER Guestbook installed on my account?

***** ViPER Guestbook is no longer supported by its developers and is not recommended for use. This is why it is no longer available in the Fantastico autoinstaller******

Instead, you can use the Ardguest guestbook application.

It is very easy to install Viper GuestBook on your SiteGround hosting account with the Fantastico auto-installation tool. All you need to do is:

1. Open your cPanel and click on the Fantastico icon.
Please refer to our Script Installation guide for a screenshot demonstartion how to access Fantastico.

2. You will see a list of scripts on the left of the page. Look for "GuestBooks" and click on "ViPER GuestBook".

3. Click "New Installation".

4. Choose where to install your ViPER GuestBook

If you want ViPER GuestBook to be accessible at http://www.yourdomain.com, leave the installation directory empty.
If you want ViPER Guestbook to be accessible at http://www.yourdomain.com/viper, type "viper" as installation directory.

5. Proceed with the on-screen instructions and you will have your ViPER GuestBook installed on your website.
