Pdftoppm is a library that handles the conversion from Portable Document Format (PDF) files to color image Portable Pixmap format (PPM) files, gray scale image Portable Graymap files (PGM) files and monochrome image Portable Bitmap format (PBM) files.

Pdftoppm is not included by default in the SiteGround shared servers setup, but it can be installed on one of our dedicated servers:

Once the dedicated server is provided the library can be installed with the following command executed in the command prompt of the server:

yum install xpdf
