Why am I receiving an error about another installation in the webroot?

This error has been caused by a previously installed application through Fantastico which has not been correctly removed.

In order to fix it please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure there are no conflicting files / directories left in your public_html directory;
  2. Delete all the files from .fantasticodata in your home directory.

Bear in mind that the above steps may corrupt othe Fantastico installations on your account.
